The K&N 69-1009TWR Typhoon air intake system is a free-flowing, mandrel-bent aluminum tube air induction system designed to fit some Acura RSX Type-S and Honda Civic VI or SI models. The restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing are replaced by the K&N Typhoon air intake which is designed to dramatically reduce air flow restriction as it smoothes and straightens air flow. This allows your engine to inhale a larger amount of air than the factory air intake. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine's RPM range. The 69-1009TWR air intake comes with a black rubber topped K&N high-flow air filter that installs into the previous air box space. Air is directed through the intake tube into the engine's throttle body for a guaranteed power gain. The intake tube has a textured red powder-coat finish that's made to last and it accommodates the factory air temperature sensor, crank case vent hose and idle air bypass control thermal valve vent hose. The oversized cone shaped air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is needed depending on driving conditions. This air intake is relatively easy to install usually in 90 minutes or less using existing factory mounting points. The tools needed are a screwdriver, pliers and a ratchet set. Some Typhoon air intakes are not legal for sale or use in California and other states adopting California emission standards while others are CARB exempt and 50 state legal. Check the K&N catalog or website for vehicle applications and specific CARB status for each vehicle and air intake.

OUT OF STOCK ITEMS:
If items are out of stock, the customer will be notified as soon as possible. If the items are no longer available, the order will be cancelled and the purchase will be refunded. Tracking information will be provided as soon as they are available.
SPECIAL ORDER ITEMS:
Special order items usually have a wait time of a few weeks. Personalized items cannot be returned. Items may be subject to restocking fees. Carbon fiber items that are not in stock can take up to 12 weeks to manufacture. As soon as tracking information becomes available, it will be provided to the customer.

The shipping prices listed on our website are for the lower 48 states. Most of the items that are carried on our site are available to be shipped to AK, HI, PR but additional shipping charges may be incurred. RETURN POLICY
We want to make sure that you get the product that is best for you. If you are unsure about a product please contact us prior to placing an order. In the event that an item needs to be returned, YOU MUST RECEIVE AUTHORIZATION from an Overkill Auto Garage team member.
Returns will be sent to where they originally shipped from. If a product is shipped to the wrong address and needs to be shipped to the correct address, the cost of shipping will be deducted from the refund amount.
All returns are subject to a minimum 15% restocking fee.
