Developing systems for the C8 Corvette presented BORLA(r) engineers with unique challenges, but our team was up to the challenge. Great care was taken to ensure the integrity and function of the system as well as the vehicle itself. Part number 140838 includes both AFM and NPP dual mode exhaust valves. The S-Type sound level delivers an aggressive, yet balanced sound with a deep tone. Our exhaust provides a more exciting driving experience without any drone. It features our Polyphonic Harmonizer and SwitchFire(tm) technology. BORLA(r)'S Polyphonic Harmonizer Technology utilizes patented units that contain pipes of different diameters and lengths to create multiple exhaust notes that harmonize to deliver a clean, rich, full-bodied sound. Completely eliminating the turbulent center intersection of a standard X-Pipe, BORLA(r)'S patented SwitchFire(tm) design truly blends the combustion pulses from both sides of the engine for improved performance and a custom aggressive sound. Strategically placed heat shielding is included to prevent exhaust heat damage and protect your Corvette. It comes with 4" Bright Chrome on T-304 stainless tips and is also available with Black Chrome on T-304 stainless steel tips part number 140839BC, or Carbon Fiber tips part number 140839CF. The system is constructed using T-304 stainless steel and is backed by our Million Mile Warranty. System ships in 2 boxes., Note: After installation of the BORLA(r) system, the controllers for the AFM and NPP valves in the exhaust system should be re-calibrated according to GM Document ID 5406413. IN STOCK ITEMS:
All in stock items will be shipped out within 5 business days. Tracking numbers will be provided to the customer as soon as they are available. Most items will arrive within 2 weeks.
OUT OF STOCK ITEMS:
If items are out of stock, the customer will be notified as soon as possible. If the items are no longer available, the order will be cancelled and the purchase will be refunded. Tracking information will be provided as soon as they are available.
SPECIAL ORDER ITEMS:
Special order items usually have a wait time of a few weeks. Personalized items cannot be returned. Items may be subject to restocking fees. Carbon fiber items that are not in stock can take up to 12 weeks to manufacture. As soon as tracking information becomes available, it will be provided to the customer.
SHIPPING COST
The shipping prices listed on our website are for the lower 48 states. Most of the items that are carried on our site are available to be shipped to AK, HI, PR but additional shipping charges may be incurred. RETURN POLICY
We want to make sure that you get the product that is best for you. If you are unsure about a product please contact us prior to placing an order. In the event that an item needs to be returned, YOU MUST RECEIVE AUTHORIZATION from an Overkill Auto Garage team member.
Returns will be sent to where they originally shipped from. If a product is shipped to the wrong address and needs to be shipped to the correct address, the cost of shipping will be deducted from the refund amount.
All returns are subject to a minimum 15% restocking fee.
Customer is liable for any damages incurred during shipment of product.
